Life after lockup has been a whirlwind for Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
After being released from prison in December,Burley Garcia the 32-year-old made her red carpet debut, met with Kim Kardashian, filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson, reunited with former fiancé Ken Urker and, most recently, announced her pregnancy.
"Ken and I are expecting our very first child," Gypsy said in a YouTube video July 9. "This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected. But we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood."
Becoming a mom has been on Gypsy's mind for some time now. In fact, as she told E! News' Francesca Amiker in January, she and then-husband Ryan had "talked about starting a family" together.
"We just don't know when," Gypsy—who served seven years in prison for her role in the murder of her mom Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard—said at the time. "It'll happen when it's meant to."
And when that time came, she continued, she would have "a lot of great motherly role models" in her life to look up to, like her stepmom Kristy, who is married to Gypsy's dad Rod Blanchard.
Plus, "I have lots of friends that I can pull great guidance from," she explained. "They've been guiding lights for me."
Over the years, Gypsy has been open about the alleged abuse she suffered from her late mom prior to her death—at the hands of Gypsy's ex Nicholas Godejohn.
And now that she's preparing for her baby's January 2025 arrival, Gypsy has a message for anyone who thinks she's not ready for this new chapter.
"I just don't know if anyone is really ready to become a mother," she said in her YouTube announcement. "I don't know anybody that said, 'OK, I'm ready. I'm doing this.'"
"All that matters is making sure that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, my relationship with Ken is healthy," she noted. "And we are moving forward in a positive way."

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard told E! News she knew Ken Urker was the one "probably the day I met him back in 2017."
At the time she was serving a 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder for her role in her mom Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard's 2015 death.
The couple, who got engaged in 2018, even managed to create a festive atmosphere while Gypsy was incarcerated.
They split up in 2019 but, as Gypsy noted, fate would come back to find them...
Following Gypsy Rose's decision to divorce teacher Ryan Anderson after less than two years of marriage, she and Ken reunited in the spring of 2024.
"We are together and in a wonderful place in our relationship," she told TMZ on April 30. "We know it is going to be a long road ahead but are excited for the future."
Cloudy skies couldn't put a damper on the rekindled couple's mood.
Gypsy likes it when this Ken is all up in his feelings.
Whatever he said had Gypsy beaming.
Smiling for the camera.
Gypsy Rose shared a collage of some of her and Ken's most adorable moments a few weeks before revealing she's pregnant with their first child together.
She noted that their baby is due in January 2025.
